Aumsville, Oregon CCB #230908 Bonded & insured
Custom homes across Stayton, Sublimity, and the Santiam Canyon, framed and finished by the same crew since 1994.
On most builds the crew turns over every few weeks, and whoever sold you the house is long gone by framing. Here it is the same hands the whole way. We frame it, side it, and finish it ourselves, and only licensed trades like plumbing and electrical come in from outside. About five homes a year, on purpose, so yours is never the one sitting while somebody else's gets finished.

Custom homes, barns, shops, commercial buildings, and the framing behind all of it.
Three steps between the property you own and the house you live in. No sales funnel, no project managers you never meet. You deal with the builder the whole way.
You call and we come out to the property to see where a house can sit, how the ground drains, and what the access looks like. If you don't have plans yet, we'll put you in front of one of the local architects and designers we work with.
We price off square-foot numbers we keep current, so what you're looking at is this year's cost and not last year's. If you need lending, we'll point you toward the local banks we work with and help you get it lined up.
Our crew frames it, sides it, and finishes it, and you'll know who's on your site every day. The licensed trades, plumbing and electrical, go to the specialists we've worked with for years.
MP Construction has been building in this valley since 1994. We're a father-and-son operation with a small crew, and we frame, side, and finish every house ourselves. Only the licensed trades, plumbing and electrical, go out to specialists.
That's why we only take about five homes a year. It isn't a volume business and we've never tried to make it one. When the crew that frames your house is the same crew hanging your trim, five is what the calendar holds.
We'll walk your property before anything else, help you get plans drawn if you don't have them, and give you a square-foot number we keep current. Then we build it.
Most of our work goes up on the client's own property: farm ground, acreage, hillsides, and family land across the east valley and up the canyon.
What goes up out here
Straight answers to what buyers ask first. If yours isn't here, the phone works.
Yes, and it's most of what MP Construction does. We build on the client's own property, including farm ground, acreage, and family land around Stayton, Sublimity, Aumsville, and up the Santiam Canyon. If you own the lot, we'll come walk it with you before anything else happens.
MP Construction prices from square-foot numbers that get updated continuously, so the figure you're given reflects what materials and labor cost right now instead of what they cost last season. You'll sign on an approximate square-foot number before a full line-item breakdown gets built, because a complete breakdown takes roughly eighty hours to put together.
No builder can promise a number will never move, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we do is keep our square-foot costs updated continuously so the starting figure is honest rather than optimistic, and tell you as soon as something shifts instead of at the end. Estimate accuracy is the thing this company is proudest of.
MP Construction builds about five custom homes a year, on purpose, and three of next year's slots are already spoken for. If you're planning a build, it's worth calling early. The calendar fills well ahead of the first shovel.
Yes, on both. If you don't have plans drawn, we'll connect you with one of about five local architects and designers we work with regularly. For lending, we work with roughly seven local banks and help clients get financing lined up before there's a contract.
Yes. MP Construction builds custom pole barns and shops, usually in the 36x48 and 36x60 class, framed by the same crew that builds the homes. Custom homes are the main line of work and barns are a genuine second line.
Yes. MP Construction holds Oregon CCB license #230908, active with both residential and commercial endorsements and renewed through 2028. The company is bonded, carries $1M in liability coverage, and has no complaints or disciplinary actions on its CCB record.
Tell us where the property is and what you're picturing. We'll call you back, set a time, and come see the ground before anyone talks numbers.
The builder answers his own phone. If he's on a roof, leave a message and he'll call you back.
